1. General Information

Gedi Route Run 2026 is a fitness and endurance running event organized by Stridefight. By registering for any event category (21 KM Half Marathon, 10 KM Run, or 5 KM Fun Run), participants agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions and Policies.

These terms apply to all participants, visitors, sponsors, and users of the Gedi Route Run website.

2. Eligibility & Participation

• Participants must meet the minimum age requirements specified for each race category.
• Participants must ensure they are medically fit to take part in the event.
• Organizers reserve the right to deny participation to anyone deemed medically or physically unfit on race day.
• Participation is voluntary and at the participant's own risk.

3. Registration Policy

• All registrations must be completed online through the official Gedi Route Run website.
• Registration is confirmed only after successful payment.
• Registration fees are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise by the organizers.
• Bib numbers are assigned individually and must not be exchanged or shared.

4. Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable under normal circumstances.
• In case of event cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances (weather conditions, government restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure), refunds or alternative arrangements will be communicated by the organizers.
• No refunds will be issued for participant no-shows or failure to attend the event.
• Transfer of registration to another person or category is not permitted without prior written approval.

5. Event Changes & Force Majeure

The organizers reserve the right to:

• Modify event dates, routes, race categories, or schedules.
• Cancel or postpone the event due to safety, weather, or administrative reasons.

In such cases, the decision of the organizers will be final and binding.

6. Health & Safety Disclaimer

• Participants acknowledge that running is a physically demanding activity and may involve risks.
• The organizers, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or loss incurred during the event.
• Participants are responsible for their own health insurance coverage.
• Medical support and hydration facilities will be provided, but participation remains at personal risk.

7. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

• Follow race rules and instructions from officials and volunteers.
• Respect fellow runners, staff, and public property.
• Maintain sportsmanship and ethical behavior throughout the event.

Any misconduct may lead to disqualification without refund.

8. Use of Images, Videos & Media

By participating, participants grant permission to Stridefight and Gedi Route Run to use photographs, videos, and recordings captured during the event.

These materials may be used for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes across digital and print platforms without compensation.

9. Timing, Results & Awards

• Timing results (where applicable) will be based on official race timing systems.
• Organizers' decisions regarding results, rankings, and awards will be final.
• Certificates and medals are provided as per category guidelines.

10. Personal Belongings

• Organizers are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
• Participants are advised not to carry valuables on race day.

11. Data Collection

We collect personal information such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Address
• Emergency contact details

This information is collected solely for event registration, communication, and safety purposes.

12. Data Usage

• Personal data is used for event-related communication, updates, and emergency coordination.
• Data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without consent.
• Payment information is securely processed through trusted payment gateways.

13. Data Protection

We follow reasonable security practices to protect participant information. However, no online platform can guarantee 100% security.

14. Payments

• All payments must be made through the official website.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Failed or incomplete payments will not confirm registration.

15. Governing Law

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Chandigarh, India.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or using the Gedi Route Run website, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions and Policies.
